TSA just put the brakes on expanding their Gateside program, which lets non-flyers through airport security without a boarding pass. Expansion to roughly 300 airports is now on hold indefinitely, with no explanation. 😱 The good news: it’s still live at the original 13 pilot airports πŸ‘‡ πŸ“ Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) πŸ“ Detroit (DTW) πŸ“ Omaha (OMA) πŸ“ Las Vegas (LAS) πŸ“ Indianapolis (IND) πŸ“ Columbus (CMH) πŸ“ Los Angeles (LAX) πŸ“ Little Rock (LIT) πŸ“ Phoenix-Mesa Gateway (AZA) πŸ“ Salt Lake City (SLC) πŸ“ San Diego (SAN) πŸ“ Wichita (ICT) πŸ“ Oklahoma City (OKC) How it works: βœ… It’s free, but you need to be a TSA PreCheck member βœ… Apply at tsa.gov/gateside-login 1 to 3 days before your visit βœ… Each approval is for a specific date at a specific airport βœ… Visits may be capped based on passenger volume and airport capacity βœ… Bring your ID and go through the PreCheck lane like normal Once you’re through, you can shop, grab a bite, and meet your favorite person right at the gate. It’s especially handy for parents of kids flying as unaccompanied minors, since you can walk them all the way to their flight. πŸ™Œ Should TSA bring the expansion back? Let us know below πŸ‘‡ #TSA #TSAPreCheck
