They used to burn women like me. 🔥 They called us witches because they feared women they couldn’t control. ⛓️‍💥 …too wild to tame, too powerful to silence. 🖤

This is said with total kindness, it’s just really sad to see when we all belong in this world x Stop using hooks such as: ‘it’s embarrassing if you do this’ .. ‘you don’t belong here if you wear this’.. let people be who they want to be, wear what they want to wear and if that doesn’t match your opinion, remember yours is only an opinion and not fact. If someone wants to wear trainers, hunter wellies, tweed coats with gold buttons, wear lipstick on a horse, brush or not brush their hair that day - who the heck has enough time to care! Let’s start influencing positivity, kindness and care for our community - because the extra follows you’re getting from these styles of videos will not be creating a kind community 🤍
My Halloween costume this year: “break a leg” -But I took it literally- I’ve always been an overachiever, but I may have taken this one a little too far! This morning, during our completely normal, routine stretches, my femur — the longest and strongest bone in the human body — decided to SNAP like a twig! And just like that, I’ve secured myself another Halloween reservation at the emergency room! For those keeping score, that’s Halloween 2023 AND Halloween 2026. Apparently, I have a favorite holiday destination! 🤣 But on a more educational note… One of the lesser-known complications of spinal cord injuries is rapid bone density loss. Paralysis affects SO much more than our ability to walk! Without normal weight-bearing and muscle activity, our bones can become increasingly fragile, sometimes developing osteoporosis. Which means something as innocent as a little morning stretching can turn into a pretty impressive X-ray! But hey, there’s always a silver lining! ✨ Paralysis perk: I can’t feel the pain! Life has thrown some pretty interesting curveballs my way over the last three years, but if there’s one thing that hasn’t broken, it’s my sense of humor! My femur, on the other hand… Happy Halloween, y’all! Stay spooky, stay positive, and remember… When someone tells you to “break a leg,” check your funny bone and remember they’re being HUMERUS!
