Just another yearly post…

I would like to start off by saying it has been an honor participating in @battleofthebamboo . It has been an amazing experience working along side the other performers within Kultura.

I am extremely proud of all the hard work all the dancers, music, and props members have put into our performance. I’d also like to acknowledge all the hard work that the other schools have put into their performances

I’d like to thank @fiauic for hosting yet another successful Battle of the Bamboo. I’d also like to thank my coordinators @jacobdirectoo , @yagirlcsalty , and @inaaa.ramos for dedicating their time and hard work to teach, mentor, and support all of our performers. I’d also like to thank @lowkeyangelo , my previous battle coordinator, for encouraging me to participate in BOTB my junior year at Niles North High School in 2020. These four people have encouraged me to engage in my own culture through cultural dances. I can gladly say that I look up to these four people and hope that one day, I will follow their steps and become a battle coordinator myself.

I will forever cherish my experiences participating in Battle of the Bamboo. BOTB will always have a special place in my heart and I am excited to participate next year!🇵🇭💛💙
