$In honor of World Osteoporosis Day this week, I’m sharing a shocking personal development. After posting these in my stories and reading all of your DM’s, I wanted to share this with more of you. And as a super fit well informed person in the fitness industry- it’s even more surprising- but I’m not alone. I recently learned that I have severe osteoporosis in my lumbar spine. I’m on a diagnostic journey with @fasciainstitute and @jacquescourseaultmd @fasciainstitutelosangeles analyzing my symptomatic hypermobility and I am learning so much about my health, biochemistry, anatomy and physiology. Grateful he referred me for this DEXA scan. This post is my story, and not medical advice. I’m reflecting on why at age 54 this is the state of my bones. Genetics? Training? Nutrition? I’m sure it’s many factors, but I want to highlight one for my fellow bendy followers: if you were a dancer and underfueled during critical windows of growth in your tweens, teens and early twenties, it’s important to advocate for DEXA earlier than most docs will recommend (65 is the standard!!). A recent blog by @hypermobilitymd also breaks down the reality of avoidant or restrictive eating patterns that can have dire consequences later in life. I also highly recommend @drandygalpin podcast on “Enhancing Bone Health.” Learn your fracture risk, read @joinajenda by @drjashton Other great researchers and clinicians that I’m learning from @jocelyn_wittstein_md @drvondawright Please leave your great resources below! Your comment may help others get answers. With love, Jill #heds #osteoporosis #osteopenia #worldosteoporosisday #perimenopause$

Get those pedicures ready! @Chanelofficial’s divisive barefoot sandals have made their way to the red carpet. This afternoon, Margaret Qualley stepped out for her new Ridley Scott film “The Dog Stars” in London, England, and while the star donned a classic little black dress on top, it was her unconventional choice in footwear that totally stole the show.

Festive feels; Shasthi vibes ❤️

SD-SMP : Sekolah Tatap Muka
PAUD-TK : Tetap PJJ
