Stoked to finally share this project and introduce our new record label @recessjams with my bro @simondoty 🥂

Our first release is Friday May 13, featuring an original from Simon and incredible remixes from @dosem and @therealblackcircle who we’re honoured to have on the crew and looking forward to working more closely with.

We have tons of exciting artists in our camp we can’t wait to share - and always looking for new demos via the form on our site.

Also thrilled to be working with one of my childhood influences and local legend @peru143 for the label art, amazing work brother.

Statement from Simon below:

“Today I’m thrilled to introduce my new record label Recess 🫴 @recessjams

For me, the natural evolution following DJ and producer is helping other artists through A&R and mentoring while developing your own brand.

Recess is not an outlet for my own music; it’s a platform for our crew to discover, develop and share records from artists we believe in.

I’m lucky to enjoy the support of @anjunadeep and excited to continue releasing most of my music with them.

All that to say, without further ado - our founding release ‘Reality Check’ is dropping this Friday. It includes a tech-house original from me to set the tone, plus top remixes from two of my favourite producers who I’m honoured to welcome to our crew - @dosem and @therealblackcircle 🤝

You can preview and pre-save the tracks and check our site for updates, can’t wait to share the full versions on Friday!

DEMOS - we want your unreleased club-focused music (melodic house/tech-house). If you think it’s a good fit for the label please use the form on recessjams.com 🙏”
