Couldn't be more proud to have been a part of this amazing project for the City of @sault.ste.marie 🙏 3 guys, 3 days and over 300 cans of @molotowheadquarters magic. I was asked to paint the word "Biindigen" which means "Welcome" in Ojibwe, sort of a city moto which also happens to be a message l've been painting for the past year ❤ and as this countries' atrocities continue to be unearthed we will need more positive works of art to heal the masses 🙏 much love and respect to the architects @vizsla_bacon @miangunclan as well as Todd, the film crew, student assistants and everyone involved, it was a true pleasure painting this with you all. by @peru143

ENSEMBLE 2021My longest, and Canada's longest - single artist - mural at 500 feet long was a delight to paint but a pain to capture in one shot. In the second slide you can see the full wall at the botton, both halves above that and a couple fish eye shots above those. Tout se résume à la question de savoir si nous pouvons travailler ensemble ou non, et pour cela, nous avons besoin d'espaces sûrs et inclusifs où les gens peuvent se sentir libres d'être eux-mêmes et d'explorer leur plein potentiel. Je crois que la compréhension de notre interdépendance est essentielle pour avoir l'empathie et la compassion nécessaires pour travailler ensemble. Tous ces éléments réunis créent un environnement positif qui favorise l'innovation et élève les objectifs de chacun. Spent a solid week in Halifax for the mural festival where l was given the vip treatment and got to do a few extra walls here and there. Very grateful to @princefuze, the @iotainstitute and everyone who organized the festival and took the time to show me around. I'll speak more about the mural in the post but l wanted to share this long reel before l get around to it ;-) by @peru143

The InterCHANGE/HMF mural is in progress and looking so good! About his work, @peru143 says “Ultimately, [my] purpose is to encourage social change in the form of consciousness-shifting works of art – to create works that communicate the need to rise above our differences by understanding the interconnectedness of all living things.” The artist spoke about his mural practice in the @halifaxmuralfestival artist talk this week with a panel of 3 other artists.To see the mural: walk over to PERU’s mural to see the progress by traveling from Cogswell street on the West side of Barrington, look up onto the concrete wall beyond the Interchange bike path to see the mural!Thanks to @crombiereit for allowing their wall to be turned into artwork!#muralist #InterCHANGE by @peru143

Many thanks to the @citymississauga for selecting and trusting us with this honor. It's always a dream working with @miangunclan & @vizsla_bacon ✨️❤️✨️ we're very proud of this one. Thank you @tylorkc for some of these great shots 🙏🏽 "Come Together" celebrates generations of Indigenous leadership and contributions from diverse peoples and species who have made Mississauga the thriving hub it is today. Based on a portion from one of the Anishinaabe creation stories, the mural speaks of a time when there were only five great nations of Turtle Island. Each nation is represented in the design by a different animal of profound significance. The heron, known as a water bird, represents the Mississauga's’ identity as people connected to water. The coyote, with its glass-like sheen, gazes into the future of the land, symbolizing the present and future of Mississauga, with its towering glass buildings. The fish evoke the earth tones of the natural world and the Thirteen Moons of the Anishinaabe calendar circle the amphitheatre’s seating. Facing Duke of York Blvd., the word “MISSISSAUGA”, a human creation, intricately woven and intertwined in geometric patterns, merges the past with the future. This mural calls on all of us, regardless of our differences, to Come Together. The artists hope to inspire conversations about change, the strength that comes from diversity, and the perpetual growth that can come when we invest in relationships and celebrate our interconnection 🙏🏽 by @peru143

When l ventured to Kaua'i for this art + medicine retreat, I wanted to challenge my self limiting beliefs and breakthrough into a new realm of psychic awareness & perceptive abilities but l threw up & passed out instead ;-) This is still considered a successful experience but it was an underwhelming result. The rest of the retreat, however, exceeded my expectations. Painting, soundbaths, bonfires, and outings to waterfalls and beaches rounded off the edges real nice and left an indelible imprint in my heart, mind, & spirit. Meaningdul conversations immersed in nature with a great group of people worked its magic on me. I also happen to enjoy the experience with my brother, the workshop facilitator, and my cousin, a first-time painter, framing the spectrum of ability through family, I am so greatful to @chris_dyer for bringing me to this paradise and @omnichakra & @djmauka for their hospitality and warmth.I'll let the images speak for themselves.. by @peru143

What started off as a small 30-page zine grew into a 300+ page anthology spanning 30 years of making art — threading together sketches, graphic work, photography, paintings, murals, writings, and reflections created across continents and time. From early graffiti experiments to large-scale public installations, it gathers fragments of memory and transformation into one visual story. Printed in Montreal in a limited edition of 143 hardcover copies, each book is signed and numbered — a tangible extension of my studio-to-the-streets practice, and a meditation on color theory, sacred geometry, and the patterns that connect us all. SOLD OUT 🙏🏽 I'm so grateful to everyone involved and everyone who came out to the final leg of the book tour. PEACE IS INEVITABLE is all gone, and I can now peacefully move on to the next project. I was telling people that normally l feel alone in a crowded room but l felt a lot of love that night, and although I may have gone home empty-handed, I left full hearted ❤️ I look forward to going to Lima, Peru, to hand over the last box of pre-sold books in the city where it all sterted for me. Big up @bevy.space for offering your space and resources to punctuate this tour, and to all the friends and family who've always supported me. by @peru143
