No weapon formed against thee shall prosper… That scripture encapsulates my entire experience here at Tulane. Thank you, Tulane. I’ve created life long relationships, traveled the world, and left my mark. I couldn’t have done this without God and my incredible support system. It has not been easy but I am most proud of my resilience and tenacity because I never gave up and I never took no for an answer. As a Black woman at this PWI I have faced many challenges but I conquered them all despite many failures and sleepless nights. My mama always told me if you want to be the best it’s not about being the smartest, the person with the most talent, or beauty… it’s about who will work for it the most and be persistent. & No one can out work me!

Tulane 34: “The Tulane 34 Award is presented to 34 graduates (both undergraduates and graduate/professional students) who have distinguished themselves throughout their collegiate life at Tulane University.  Students are recognized for their exemplary leadership, service, and academic excellence.
