No weapon formed against thee shall prosper… That scripture encapsulates my entire experience here at Tulane. Thank you, Tulane. I’ve created life long relationships, traveled the world, and left my mark. I couldn’t have done this without God and my incredible support system. It has not been easy but I am most proud of my resilience and tenacity because I never gave up and I never took no for an answer. As a Black woman at this PWI I have faced many challenges but I conquered them all despite many failures and sleepless nights. My mama always told me if you want to be the best it’s not about being the smartest, the person with the most talent, or beauty… it’s about who will work for it the most and be persistent. & No one can out work me!

Everyone wish my best friend, life coach, consultant, life partner, love, my favorite comedian, my lil yea 😂, the greatest gift that I could ask for, my heart in human form a Happy Birthday. @iamraysav Thank you so much for being you. I am so proud of the woman you were, are, and are becoming. You work so hard to be the best version of yourself and you inspire me everyday to be what you see in me. The love that you choose to give me everyday is infectious and I am able to love more because of how much love you share with me. Thank you for making the world a better place with each breath you take. I love you and miss you ❤️

Now lets sing our favorite song together…

“You so easy love
It’s hard to watch you struggle
We both smart
But
Let me fix yo puzzles
Let me match yo fly
Let me match yo hustle
Cuz we a team
It us against the world
So we huddle

Cuz a problem ain’t nun
To a couple
Who’s intelligent
Emotionally
I just thought that this was relevant
For reassurance
Purposes
I’m heartfelt
Providing my services
My job
Is to see what you is working with

Cuz you so easy to love
You so easy to love
You so easy to love

So tell me bout yo day
And how it went
And what you plans… is

Don’t question my inten-tions
Ima tell you where my hands been

Ima handle mine
While I watch you dancing
I’m soft
And that’s exactly what a man is

Cuz our story is like a romcom
Or some kind of show
You remember that time my car got towed
And you mom had to swoop us from the park
And we had to wait it was dark
But I think that it really lit a spark…

You call me in the morning
Before I work
And my voice is raspy
I got somebody
Special
When somebody ask me
I’m shooting something special
And I’m really casting
A beautiful black woman
And I can see this last-ing

Cuz you so easy to love
You so easy to love
You so easy to love

Cuz you so easy to love
You so easy to love
You so easy to love” by @iamraysav
