THIS IS 50 !!!
The journey to 50 has not been easy , by no means .
Adulthood is the worst hood I’ve ever lived in .
Motherhood is the most challenging hood I’ve ever been in .
So many things tried to break me .
Love tried to shatter my heart .
Work tried to steal my smile .
Depression tried to destroy my spirit .
Stress tried to kill my joy .
Alopecia tried to take my self-esteem .
But dear God,I’m here !
I’m here ! (Celie voice)
