Weird, funny dreams usually happen because the brain is mixing memories, emotions, random thoughts, and recent experiences during sleep, especially during REM sleep. The parts of the brain involved in emotion and imagery are very active, while the areas responsible for strict logic and reality-checking are less dominant. That is why your dream can calmly decide that your old teacher is now a dolphin, your house is inside a supermarket, and you somehow have a meeting in 1847.

Stress, sleep deprivation, alcohol, medications, fever, irregular sleep schedules, and even something you watched before bed can make dreams more vivid or bizarre. Your sleeping brain is basically an exhausted film director with access to your entire memory archive and absolutely no obligation to make the plot coherent.

Sean Strickland landed in Edmonton for UFC Fight Night and immediately started posting about the city.

Strickland is in Alberta to corner a fighter at UFC Fight Night at Rogers Place on October 17, 2026, headlined by Mike Malott and Joaquin Buckley, and is not competing himself. After first defending Edmonton on X, he reversed course on Wednesday with a devastating roast, calling the city a trash can and posting photos and video from downtown, including a clip where he said a man lying behind a fence might be 💀 and joked he had to get out of there. The explosive posts, which also touched on Alberta separatism, sparked controversy and added to a relentless run of headlines for the dominant two-time UFC middleweight champion in mixed martial arts.

Somewhere between the 80s and a summer in Mallorca.

A little vintage, a little cinematic, and a whole lot of magic. ✨ No perfect poses. No rules. Just real moments, movement, love and a touch of old-school romance.

Always such a pleasure creating together, sharing inspiration and bringing new ideas to life.
And honestly, I could watch this on repeat. 🎞️
