A controversy has erupted after journalist Richa Parashar, who claims to be three months pregnant, alleged that Rahul Gandhi grabbed her hand during the INDIA bloc’s march towards the Supreme Court in Delhi. She claimed that security personnel subsequently pushed her, causing her to fall down the stairs and sustain injuries to her hand and knees. She also alleged that her phone was damaged and that she was hospitalised. Congress leaders have disputed the allegations, questioning the interpretation of the available video footage. The incident has triggered a political row, with the allegations remaining contested.
