Austin Todd

For the past 21 years, baseball has always been the way of life for me. From the highest of highs to the absolute lowest of lows, baseball has taught me what it means to have friendships and relationships with people that will last a lifetime. It has taught me how to mentally and physically handle adversity, so much so that I feel there is nothing we can’t do in our lives if we put our minds to it. I will miss the game, the everyday work that goes into it, and being in a locker room with my teammates the most. I cannot thank my family, coaches, teammates, and friends who have supported me and have been with me throughout this chapter in my life. Being a Longhorn was one of the best decisions I have ever made and I am very grateful to have worn Texas across my chest! I have given everything I possibly had to this game and go to sleep with the comfort of having not one regret in the game of baseball. I look forward to beginning the next chapter of my life!
