Ladies, as we age, protein becomes even more important! 🌱💪🏽✨ Protein isn’t just about building muscle. It supports healthy aging, metabolism, and maintaining our strength. And here’s the beauty of plant-based nutrition: you can get all 9 essential amino acids without eating meat! Amino acids are the building blocks of protein, helping our bodies repair, rebuild, and thrive. Some of my favorite soy-free plant proteins? Quinoa, hemp seeds, chia seeds, lentils, chickpeas, and pumpkin seeds. 🌿 Quinoa, hemp, and chia contain all 9 essential amino acids, while combining a variety of plant proteins throughout the day helps you meet your body’s needs. Nourish your body today so it can carry you beautifully tomorrow. 💚 Now tell me, ladies… what’s on your lunch menu today? 👀🍽️
Trips are always better with your girls! 🤍 A few days in beautiful Moira, slow mornings, massages, endless catch-ups, and the kind of pampering we all needed. Loved our little escape at this gorgeous villa with everything taken care of. Already missing it and planning our next getaway! ✨ @vescapes
Careful what you wish for
A major hurricane was not on my Worlds prep plan 🫠 Been a rough few days as far as being a professional athlete goes (or just a person navigating a crisis in general), but I am grateful for our safety. No power, no water & shitty phone service with no real timeline on when that will return to normal, but we are safe, our home is okay & all of the animals are just fine. Our precious Pensacola is recovering ❤️ Still dealing with a lot of clean up & debris & not quite having the best time eating and drinking exclusively room temperature things, but I DID find a coffee for the first time since Thursday today, so you could say things are looking up 💅🏼 I guess this is when my grittiness & “push through whatever” training comes in 🤷🏻‍♀️ Take off for China in less than 2 weeks! ✈️
