It's The beginning of the look in the mirror after realizing the value systems you're programmed by aren't serving you. It's about a the romance that showed me where my pattern of relationships was similar to my pattern of behavior and both echoed a scarcity mentality taught to me by value systems I grew up with. The feeling of not being happy where I was, but feeling afraid to let go because I didn't see anything better on the horizon. Truly though it was simply the staying that was keeping me from finding better, even within myself.
This lesson translated through all points of my life after I made this song and I'm so grateful for the reflection that ignited the change from scarcity to trust.
