@astro_yisoyeon Let’s touch upon the Catholic "riffraff" within NASA. Unfortunately—contrary to popular belief—most of NASA's hires come from Catholic University and George Washington University rather than top-tier institutions like MIT, Cornell, Caltech, or Berkeley! It is a disgrace. Yes, this is the capitalist policy that has infiltrated NASA—a policy dictating that ideology should have no place among thinkers, and that scientists and staff must not hold a materialist worldview. Yet, the very source of the science, knowledge, and thought of those individuals stems from a materialist perspective! And we are talking about astronomy and space science—fields whose very origins lie in a materialist outlook. It is hardly surprising, then, that so many questions regarding astronomy and space have remained unresolved for years. How about those capitalist owners—in an effort to boost the religious atmosphere at NASA—invite representatives from the Vatican for every new discovery, just to ensure NASA doesn't make a mistake? Science will not progress as long as a materialist perspective is absent from the minds of scientists and researchers...
