I did NOT realize just how many holes I put in the doghouse room while making the Squirrel Tracking Command Center set. We’re talking HUNDREDS of staples and dozens of screw holes. 😅 But after a few days of patching holes, drywall repairs, and touch-ups, the doghouse is officially back to a blank slate and ready for some Halloween decorations! Today we’re decorating… TOMORROW WE REVEAL!

The furthest distance I’ve ever covered and possibly my last race for the year ❤️ @ground.stb Go Beyond Going into this race, I had many reasons to doubt how far I’d go. I haven’t been in the best headspace, my body was still recovering from @berlinmarathon two weeks ago, and I rolled my ankle at Wednesday’s run. BUT Saturday was all about proving what can be done when it gets hard 🥹🤞🏼 and what’s possible with enough faith 🤲🏼 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13 ❤️ There was no pressure to take the next step, but we took it anyway. You’ll see some splits that made for a few tight calls, but I promised myself that if I made it back in time for a lap, I’d keep going. This meant I had about 45 seconds to recoup before taking on lap 12/12, but I took it on anyway and came in with a couple of minutes to spare 🤝🏽❤️‍🔥 I was the final finisher out of those that made it to 12 laps, covering 64km in total ✅ . And honestly, I don’t think there’s a better reminder that this journey was never about how quickly you get there, but about whether you’re willing to keep going when things get hard 🤞🏼 Sometimes, the biggest victory is simply proving to yourself that you’re capable of more than you thought. Not because you had no doubts, not because everything went according to plan, but because you chose to take one more step even when you weren’t sure you had it in you 🥹 And maybe that’s what I’ll remember most about Saturday. Not the distance, not the time, and not the fact that I was struggling till the very end BUT the fact that I could have stopped at any point, and I chose to keep going. 64km. 12 laps. The last one standing until the very end. ❤️‍🔥 A reminder that you don’t have to be the fastest, the strongest, or the most prepared person out there. You just have to keep believing that there’s another step in you. Slow and steady, always. 🐢❤️ Massive thank you to the brands that have supported this journey 🤝🏽❤️‍🔥 👕 & 👟: @asicsfrontrunner @asics_za ⛽️ : @openfuel 🧂 : @get.revive 🍨 & 🍫 : @nutrigopower ❤️‍🩹 : @arc_recoveryct 🍫 : @kula.energy #ASICSFrontRunner #SoundMindSoundBody #ultramarathon
