I don’t usually post things like this, but I need help.

I have a blood cancer called essential thrombocythaemia. It’s been managed for years with an injection called Pegasys, one a month.

Without it I’m at risk of blood clots and strokes. I’m 32, and I’ve got a wife and a little boy and a little one on the way.

I’m British, I have a home in York, I pay my taxes and I’m registered with a GP. Because I travel abroad for work, the NHS decided I’m not “ordinarily resident” and stopped my treatment.

I’ve tried everything. I emailed, I called, and I went to the hospital in person and asked for a meeting to talk about my options. I even offered to pay for it myself. The reply I got was to stop coming to the hospital without an appointment.

So now I’m trying to find this medicine myself, somewhere I can afford it. One quote I had was £3,400 for a single injection. I can’t do that every month.

I’ll travel anywhere: the UK, Europe, Asia. I just need a doctor who will see me and prescribe it.

If you know a haematologist, a private clinic, or someone who’s been through something similar, please message me or tag them below. And if you can’t help directly, a share might get this to someone who can.

Thank you for reading. It means more than you know.

Trying out the new Meta glasses from Thailand. Today’s topic is the Tesla flying car. I look at it from multiple perspectives. From just permitting, there’s a lot of challenges. What’s so interesting about it, the technology itself is getting there and I think for metropolitan areas it’s gonna be very difficult. For long-haul traffic it could be very cool. Or in rural areas, even better, flying around in your car. I love the idea.

From a perspective of investing, here’s what I think is going to happen. I think there’s no question that Tesla’s going to merge with SpaceX because that technology is coming together like this. So if you own Tesla stock, you’re going to own New Co. If you already own SpaceX, hang in. You’re going to own Tesla. It’s going to happen that way. #shotonmeta #metaglasses

Deepavali begins with memory for Thanuska: sitting on her mom’s bed, watching her get ready at the dressing table, as saree drapes, flowers, kajal, lipstick and kungumam became the finishing touches that stayed with her.

“My mom was always the one getting my sister and me ready growing up, and I learned so much just by watching her. Black kajal and lipstick were staples in her routine and became some of the first makeup products I loved wearing myself. Those little rituals stayed with me and still shape the way I get ready today. My mom worked at a MAC facility when I was young, so celebrating these traditions with MAC today feels like such a full-circle moment.”
