Progress on our family bathroom. 100% need to get a velux window in here at some point. We lost our window with the extension and safe to say we miss it!

For reference Im 5’4 and approx 200lbs. Pear shape ❤️

A Swiss-themed dinner party with, my old SCHOOL FRIENDS 😂🇨🇭

I’ve known these lads since I was about five, and yesterday they came over with their wives and partners for an evening inspired by my recent trip to Switzerland.

We started with crispy potato rösti with Gruyère, nutmeg and herbs, topped with sautéed garlic miso mushrooms. Then out came the raclette machine, which I’ve had for years and really don’t use enough. Melted raclette cheese over boiled potatoes with loads of toppings… honestly, what’s not to love? 🧀

And to finish: chocolate orange brownie with white chocolate ice cream. Nobody was leaving hungry.

But the best bit was sitting around the table, laughing and digging up memories with people who knew me long before the doctor bit.

All these years later, still the same lads. Just better cheese
