I stayed at the cheapest (option with 4 walls) vs. the most expensive lodging in Yosemite Valley 💸

In the video, I share my review of each. Here are more details 👇

⛺Curry Village Tent Cabins:
💵A little over $200 per night
🍕Steps away from restaurants, and very close to everything in the Yosemite Valley
👍I thought the cabin was comfortable, the bathrooms were clean, and I never had to wait for a shower (maybe just because it was shoulder season)
👎My downsides were that the cabins were very close together, parking was difficult during peak times, and just that it’s a lot of money to still being sharing a shower. Also, you can’t do any cooking here or have any food in your cabin (due to bears).

🏨The Ahwahnee Hotel:
💵A little over $800 per night
🏞️Incredible views from the hotel. Looking directly at Half Dome from our window was so special! And a very beautiful lobby and dining room.
👍The room was nice, the views were epic, and the cocktails were delicious
👎My downsides were that the dining room had a strict reservation and dress code policy for dinner. We opted to eat at the bar, but it was a long wait. We also had to wait to get a table for breakfast. And of course, the wildly high price was the biggest downside.

My verdict: I recommend that anyone stays at the Curry Village tent cabins - it’s an amazing location and I loved the glamping vibes! And I recommend that anyone goes to have a drink at the Ahwahnee and see the grounds. That way, you get the best of both worlds 🍻

What do you think? Would you stay at either of these?
