Stockton Unified School District’s low education makes new on national social media page. 📃 As protests took place throughout the nation against Donald Trump and his Republican policies (that were Democratic policies before him), Republicans got their chonies in a bunch as is the custom. However, one post is particular about Stockton is actually spot on. The post points out that Stockton has some of the lowest test scores and education levels in the entire state and nation. While they are calling out Stockton all together, the problem is really mostly Stockton Unified School District. By their own admission, in a report released a couple of years ago only 3% of seniors starting 12th grade were proficient at grade levels for math and reading. That is a 97% FAILURE RATE. However, more than 3% of students are graduating so do the math. 🧮 This sad situation is not on the students. We believe it is a direct result of the school district itself under the failed leadership of Superintendent Michelle Rodriguez who seems to be more concerned with her own publicity than student success and safety. This sad statistic is also a direct result of the failed leadership of the board of trustees, which includes Sofia Colon, Kennetha Stevens, Donald Donair, and Patrick Martin. All of them are a political click who were associates with disgraced former trustee Angelann Flores. They have all been funded and supported by the same corrupt forces that have led to this 97% failure rate. One of those forces is the Stockton Teachers Association (STA), who use their influence on parents and money to continually push for these corrupt candidates. And why is that? Well, as SUSD students continue to have the lowest scores in the region, those same SUSD teachers who are represented by their STA union continue to have the highest pay. Make it make sense. Time to vote them all out on November 3rd! #stockton #SUSD
