APPLE PIE DONUTS (Cheat Version)

Skip the dough, make with bread!! I’m using @abbottsbakery Rustic White to make these golden crispy apple pie donuts. Absolutely bursting with warm cinnamon-spiced apples and rolled in a lil cinnamon sugar. A little shortcut to something outrageously delicious!

INGREDIENTS
@abbottsbakery Rustic White
1 batch apple pie filling, chilled
2 eggs
Neutral oil, for frying
Caster sugar
Ground cinnamon

METHOD
Lay 4-6 slices of Abbott’s Bakery Rustic White onto a chopping board. Scoop a generous dollop of chilled apple pie filling (not too big!) into the centre of each slice. Cover with another slice of bread and carefully use a round cookie cutter to cut out donuts, sealing the edges as you go (you may have to manipulate the top slice a little so the bread doesn’t tear. Take your time!). Heat a few inches of neutral oil in a saucepan. Set up a coating station: whisk 2 eggs in a bowl and combine caster sugar with ground cinnamon in a separate shallow dish. Once the oil reaches 180°C, coat each donut lightly in egg, then fry for a few minutes, turning until golden brown on both sides. Drain briefly, then roll in cinnamon sugar while still warm. Best eaten immediately, preferably with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!

Working on my next album while delivering movies for VICTORY - LAP

Thank you everyone behind the camera for working Day and night to make it happen.

Around the world, girls are breaking stereotypes and overcoming barriers that have long held them back — from being denied an education and facing early or forced marriage to experiencing gender-based violence.

Despite these challenges, they continue to pursue their dreams and strive to reach their full potential.

On Sunday's International #DayofTheGirl and every day, join @unwomen in standing with girls as they take charge of their futures.

“Together, let us defend the right of all girls to a childhood, and ensure every daughter, every sister, grows up free to shape her own future,” #UnitedNations Secretary-General @antonioguterres stresses.
