One thing I’ll always believe is that accountability matters just as much as growth. I’m not perfect, and I’ve never claimed to be. I’ve made mistakes, hurt people without intending to, reacted in ways I’m not proud of, and had moments where I could’ve handled things better. I’m still learning, still growing, and still working on myself, just like everyone else. But one thing I never want to lose is the willingness to look at myself honestly. If I’ve made a mistake, I want to be able to own it. If I’ve hurt someone, I want to take responsibility for my part. And when I’m given the opportunity to make things right, I want to have the humility to do so. Growth isn’t just about talking about kindness, healing, or being a better person. It’s about being willing to recognize the moments when we fall short of those things, too. I hope I never become so focused on who I’m trying to be that I stop being honest about who I am today. There will always be room for me to learn, to apologize, to do better, and to grow. We can hold ourselves accountable without hating ourselves for being human. We can acknowledge our mistakes without letting them define us. And we can choose to do better without pretending we’ve always gotten it right. The goal isn’t to be perfect. It’s to be honest enough to grow. 🤍 What’s one thing personal growth has taught you about yourself? Teacher Jailed for secretly Taking More Than 100 Upskirt Photos of Schoolgirls and creating their s+xualised deepfake images In the Uk A 37-year-old former supply teacher, Abdul Rahman, has been jailed for six years in the UK after admitting to secretly photographing schoolgirls under their skirts and creating s+xualised deepfake images of pupils. Rahman used his iPhone to take upskirting photos and followed girls upstairs to film them while working at seven schools. He also traced pupils’ social media profiles to create s+xualised images alongside p%rnography. His offending escalated from sharing s+xualised deepfakes online to upskirting and voyeurism. He was caught after a girl’s mother discovered her daughter’s school-uniform photo alongside graphic s+xual images on X. Other images showed girls’ faces superimposed onto women wearing bikinis and PVC outfits. Captions included “daddy”, “agegap” and “ddlgkink”. Between December 2023 and June 2025, Rahman targeted 15 girls aged 13 to 16 at secondary schools in Bury, Bolton and Salford. Rahman admitted 21 offences, including 12 counts of taking indecent photographs of children through upskirting, four counts of publishing obscene material, three counts of making indecent images of children, one count of voyeurism and one count of distributing an indecent image of a child. Detective Constable Lisa McGaffin of Greater Manchester Police called the case “incredibly worrying”, warning that criminals were using AI in ways authorities had not anticipated just 12 months earlier. She described it as “a very, very difficult problem”. Prosecutor Alexandra Mann said Rahman had “ab¥sed his position as a teacher” and described the s+xualised deepfakes as a “gross breach of trust”. Sky News correspondent Greg Milam said potentially hundreds of children could have come into contact with Rahman. Police contacted the schools where he worked and the families of known victims. Rahman was jailed for six years, placed on the S+x Offenders Register and banned from working in schools for 20 years.
