Included in ABUNDANCE, Wayward Arts introduces the work of artist, Priya Pena.
Priya’s work provides an intimate look into private life. She bravely offers her own body as the subject in paintings and drawings that depict mundane activities and common routines, often set in the shower or bathroom. Isolated within a safe space, much like a personal journal, Priya reveals anxieties while seeming to question purpose and identity in honest renderings of triumphant loneliness.
