Perched on some rugged cliffs in Canada's easternmost part of land, where the sun rises first every morning, I got to visit Cape Spear National Historic Site. Along with it's Lighthouse which served as a beacon of safe passage for all boats and ships passing by. This place is an iconic symbol of Newfoundland and Labrador Marine history.
I am amazed by it's vast overlooking view of the ocean as well as seeing timely icebergs pass by. AND if you get lucky enough you might see a whale or two!
