Dear Football,
To the sport that has taught me more about life than the game itself, I thank you. For the last 18 years of my life I have given everything to this game, both mentally and physically. Through all the highs, lows, and injuries, I have learned so many lessons that will help me succeed in life. Not only has this game brought me some of the best times of my life, but also some of the best people and relationships. And for that I am forever grateful that God has allowed that to happen.
To @snufootball thank you. Thank you for taking a chance on a small town kid and allowing him to live out his dreams. Thank you for sticking with my through the good times and the bad. These past 6 years have been everything I could have hoped for and then some. It has been a pleasure.
With that being said, I am uncertain what the future holds or if I’ll ever strap on the pads again. However; I know if it is the the last time I play the game that I can walk away knowing without a doubt I gave everything I had.
