I have given birth, again. Introducing Doug’s new sister, Denise. My family is complete…for now.

For women, the midlife dip in life satisfaction can overlap with perimenopause, when kids, work, your own health and ageing parents are already asking more of you.

Then your body starts asking for attention, too.

It’s easy to put yourself last when everyone else needs something. The friend you keep meaning to see. The strength training you keep postponing. The hobby that’s entirely yours. The honest conversation about how you’re really doing.

But your needs deserve space in this chapter.
• Make regular plans with a friend
• Make time for strength training
• Hold on to something you do just for yourself
• Tell someone when it feels heavy

And if menopause symptoms are making life harder, you deserve care and support. You don’t have to push through in silence.

Send this to a woman who needs that reminder.

𝐀 𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐖𝐄𝐋𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐒 𝐈𝐓𝐒 𝐐𝐔𝐄𝐄𝐍 🇹🇿👑✨

From the moment Jihan arrived at the airport to the Homecoming Parade and the celebration that followed, Tanzania came together to welcome home its first Miss Grand International.

The streets were filled with cheers, flags, smiles, and pride as people gathered to celebrate a historic victory for their country.

From day to night, every moment reflected the love of a nation welcoming its Queen home. ❤️🇹🇿

A Homecoming to remember. A historic day for Tanzania and for GRAND.

CHANEL X BFI NEW FILMMAKER AWARDS 2026: Celebrating Creative Audacity

It was my great privilege to join the jury alongside Jessie Buckley, @edward_enninful @marielouisekhondji and Ben Roberts for this special award.

All recipients demonstrate an impressive vibrancy within the UK independent filmmaking space – incredibly talented people with personal and powerful messages to communicate, and the vision and creativity to tell those stories in an extraordinary way.

This award will hopefully enable them to expand their work and explore new ideas, cultivate co-creation and knowledge exchange, and widen the representation of voices in today’s cultural community. The Awards support the BFI’s mission to back the next generation of UK independent filmmaking talent.

Congratulations to all the very deserving winners of this prize!
I urge you to seek out their work!
