These photographs offer a closer look at Bruce Lee’s hands, including portraits and enlarged views of his knuckles. His approach to martial arts included work on strength, flexibility and endurance.

Lee kept training notes and experimented with different ways to improve his performance. The photos do not establish why his knuckles looked this way, and claims about a specific cause remain unverified.

honestly im surprised it took 4 years of being a mother for any of my makeup to fall victim to toddler fingers 😭 at least little dude has immaculate taste 😜

For years, I was afraid of what people might think of me. ❤️

I worried about being judged, about people not understanding me, and about what would happen if I showed this side of myself to the world.

And looking back, I realize how much time I spent worrying about things that hadn’t even happened yet.

Accepting myself didn’t happen overnight. It took time to become comfortable with who I am, to stop questioning whether it was okay to enjoy the things I love, and to realize that I don’t need everyone’s approval to be happy.

I’m a guy who loves dressing up, doing makeup, wearing heels and expressing a feminine side of myself. And for a long time, I struggled with accepting that those things could simply be part of who I am.

But here’s something I’ve learned along the way: you don’t have to fit into someone else’s expectations to be happy with yourself. 💕

And I think that’s something so many of us struggle with, whether it’s about how we look, what we wear, who we love, or simply being a little different from what others expect.

These days, I’m much more comfortable being Julia. I go shopping, go out, meet new people and enjoy moments I once thought I’d never have the confidence to experience.

Of course, I still have insecurities. We all do. But I’m no longer letting the fear of being judged decide what I can or cannot enjoy.

If I could tell my younger self one thing, it would be this:
Don’t spend so much of your life worrying about what other people might think. You deserve to enjoy being yourself, too. ❤️

And if you’re reading this while struggling with accepting a part of yourself, whatever that may be, I hope you’ll give yourself the time and kindness you deserve.

Life is too short to hide the things that make you happy. 🥹💕

What’s something you’ve learned about accepting yourself as you’ve gotten older? ✨
