Is TPC Harding Park worth $250? Episode 66 of playing the Top 100 public golf courses in under a year. Located in San Francisco, California, TPC Harding Park is ranked 66th in the country and is most famous for hosting the 2020 PGA Championship, where Collin Morikawa claimed his first major. There’s a lot to love about the history of this place, and walking through the towering cypress trees is a beautiful experience. But compared to the other Top 100 courses I’ve played so far, Harding Park left me a little disappointed. The greens were a bit fuzzy, the conditioning wasn’t quite what I expected, and the layout started to feel repetitive as the round went on. The rough was also cut pretty short, so the course didn’t offer nearly the challenge you’d expect from a major championship venue. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a pretty golf course with some incredible history, but at $250, I think there are better options out there. I have it a score of 5.5 putting it in a tie with Sedge Valley. Here’s my top 30 so far: 1. Whistling Straits (9.1) 2. Pinehurst No. 2 (8.9) 3. TPC Sawgrass (8.8) 4. Chambers Bay (8.6) 5. The Lido (8.5) 6. Shadow Creek (8.4) 7. Bethpage Black (8.4) 8. Erin Hills (8.3) 9. Gamble Sands (8.2) 10. Landmand (8.2) 11. Pinehurst No. 10 (8.0) 12. Arcadia Bluffs (7.9) 13. Black Desert (7.9) 14. Streamsong Red (7.8) 15. Prairie Club Dunes (7.8) 16. Mid Pines (7.8) 17. Primland (7.8) 18. Wild Horse (7.7) 20. Arcadia Bluffs South (7.7) 21. American Dunes (7.7) 22. Blackwolf Run (7.6) 23. Pine Needles (7.6) 24. Sand Valley (7.6) 25. Firestone South (7.5) 26. Streamsong Blue (7.5) 27. Pronghorn Fazio (7.5) 28. Cape Arundel (7.4) 29. Southern Pines (7.4) 30. Greywalls (7.3) #golf #golfaddict #golfing #golfer
Reliance Jio now controls nearly 40 per cent of India’s mobile market, with more than 50 crore connections, as the company heads towards what is being called a historic initial public offering. The scale of its subscriber base shows how deeply Jio has reached across the country, from large cities to small towns and villages, where millions now depend on it for calls and mobile data. Jio also reported revenue of almost Rs 1.47 lakh crore for the last year, underlining the financial strength of the business at a time when investors are watching its public market debut closely. The IPO matters because it will give investors a direct stake in the telecom business that has reshaped mobile connectivity in India. A vast customer base combined with large-scale revenue is likely to be central to how the company is valued once it lists. With more than half a billion connections, even small shifts in subscriber numbers can have an outsized impact on the wider telecom sector. Jio’s growth also mirrors the rise of mobile internet in India, where affordable data has made phones a primary way for many people to access information, services and entertainment. As the listing nears, attention will stay on how Jio balances its dominant market position with continued growth in subscribers and revenue.
