Birthday Girl 🎂🩵

If your parenting plan doesn’t address this, you may have a loophole.

Holiday parenting time is not “make-up time.”

Let’s say the 4th of July falls on a Saturday.

And let’s say Saturday would normally be your co-parent’s day.

If the holiday schedule says you have the 4th of July, then that holiday time controls.

That doesn’t automatically mean he gets to come back later and say:

“Well, you took my Saturday, so now I get extra time.”

No.

That’s exactly why your parenting plan needs clear language around holidays, regular parenting time, and whether make-up time applies.

Because high-conflict co-parents love vague plans.

They’ll use one unclear sentence to create three new arguments.

And suddenly you’re not following a parenting plan anymore.

You’re negotiating every single exception in real time.

Your plan should already answer the question before the conflict starts.

Because peace doesn’t come from hoping they’ll be reasonable.

It comes from having language they can’t easily twist.

Comment PURPLE and I’ll send you the details to have your parenting plan written for you.
