The people who grew up with me knew I grew as a timid, shy and a very reserved kid. That automatically means I didn't talk so much. Didn't even mingle so much with kids around me and for a long while I wasn't the talker but with poetry, I was able to open my mind to the pages of books, to blank sheets and to open my mouth on stages to hundreds and hundreds of people. This is something I have never imagined seeing me doing and that's why when you see me enthusiastically talking or catching vibes, I am sure if it isn't the talk of poetry, it will be an art related discussion.

There are so many times that people ask me what I do for fun and I mumble in my mind and the only thing that comes to my mind is writing or reading or just hanging out with my friends. I have tried to get other hobbies over the years and I have not been so successful with them. I have tried Badminton, I have failed woefully at skating and so many other things but one thing I seem to never fail at is writing poetry and telling stories. The ones that I believe matter and the ones that I believe do not matter but they end up reaching people and to them, they matter. A favourite thing about writing is how you write something on your own, in your room and when you post or perform it, a random person talks to you about how they've found it inspiring. This is one of the key things that motivated the start of the Train Ride with AB podcast (which has now metamorphosed into my brand name)

The podcast started with my random musings during the pandemic and now I intend to take it to a great level to share the platform with other artists, other poets, writers and storytellers who are very enthusiastic about telling stories and how it matters to us all.
