Hello, hiiii! It’s been one full year of knitting and I’m in celebration mode. I picked up knitting last winter to keep my hands busy after surgery, little did I know I’d love it so! 🥳

This year I discovered that knitting can actually be a super social activity! I took my knitting nearly everywhere in 2022 and because of it I had conversations on park benches, planes, the subway, and everywhere in between. I made new friends, deepened connections, and experienced the joy of strangers approaching me to share their memories of loved ones and knitting, open and unprompted. Each piece I made is stitched with parts of these places and people and stories, and I’ll treasure them a little extra for it.

Knitting is fun and play and art and community, and I’m here for alllllll of it in 2023! Thank you for being a part of it!
