Israel’s Arab political parties are reportedly preparing to support opposition leader Gadi Eisenkot in an effort to remove Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu from power. The move could significantly change the country’s political landscape, as the Arab parties collectively hold 19 seats in Israel’s 120-member parliament. Their support could help Eisenkot form an alternative government, but Netanyahu has not been removed from office. Negotiations and sufficient parliamentary backing would still be required.
Sausages of the World! 🌭 A sausage can tell you a lot about the place that made it. What goes into the casing depends on the meat people raised, the grains they grew and the spices they had at hand. Some recipes were shaped by the need to use every part of an animal; others became foods people seek out for their own sake. Look past the shape and you’ll find a remarkable number of ways to make a sausage. Which one would you try first?
