Oddli x Jaden Edwards launching October 30th Since Oddli has come into my life, I believe I’ve become the truest version of myself, and this set is a representation of that. The moments I enjoy most are slow, quiet and comfortable. It took me a long time to realize that’s what makes me feel the fullest. I found peace through baking, reading, creating, and spending time with the people who uplift me. I’m a complete and total homebody. I love to be cozy, but I also love feeling put together, and beautiful. This set is all of those things wrapped into one. Even if my whole day is spent at home, I want to roam around the house in something that is easy to lay down in and just as easy to leave the house in (if I feel like it). In the ’90s, movie soundtracks were a launching pad for some of R&B’s biggest stars. Few artists benefited more than Case. ㅤ After getting his start writing for artists like Usher and Al B. Sure!, Case broke through with “Touch Me Tease Me” from ‘The Nutty Professor’ soundtrack. The song peaked at No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100, setting the stage for a run of R&B classics like “Faded Pictures” with Joe and “Missing You.” ㅤ With two gold albums and a catalog full of timeless records, Case helped prove Def Jam was just as important to R&B as it was to hip-hop. Now, ahead of his VERZUZ battle against Carl Thomas on Oct. 22, we’re revisiting the music that defined his career. ㅤ These are the 10 Best Case Songs of All Time.
