28/12/22 Day 46 - TA NOBO - bluff above the bush line to Lake Ohau Lodge
My knee was still sore but we only had the bush to negotiate to get down to the Alps2Ocean cycle path and civilisation. The bush was as predicted, lots of tree fall to negotiate. Rob was a real hero and carried my pack for some of the track as the weight on my left knee was exacerbating the pain. He also managed to bruise his left knee climbing over a triple tree fall. Eventually, we reached the cycle path and 6km of the A2O. We treated ourselves to two nights dinner bed and breakfast, there was even a spa bath. We arranged for the cycle company to collect us and the bikes and our packs, and take us to Lake Tekapo. #teararoanztrail
