A little behind the scenes of “Dreams and Fears”

I know si art if blowing up right now and a lot of people are unhappy. I understand why people are able make some beautiful things with the program. There is also the ethical concern of stolen images. This is a problem and I don’t believe these ai programs will last very long. This is why I think it’s so important to be honest about the inclusion of ai made images in anything.

But of course if you put something online there is always the chance someone else will see it and use it. That doesn’t make it right…but still the internet is there and anyone has access to everything.

I do not think as artists we should be ferrful of our own work. People who appreciate art know that what is made by people can never compare to what’s made through a program with an algorithm.

I do think ai artwork is still interesting and worth exploring while it still exists. Go farther than typing in “a duck painted in the style of van gough” that’s weak… when you understand how the programs work you can find ways to let your own personal style shine though and is only done by the mind of an artist.
