As I was sitting in the surgeons lounge yesterday just chatting and eating, I couldn’t help but notice that out of all these people in there, I was the only person of color. While this made me a bit sad it also made me proud of how far I’ve come and how far I will go. A major motivator for me is to be the black man I wasn’t fortunate enough to see when I was growing up. These past few months I’ve been so anxious about my future, but as I was sitting in that lounge, God reminded me of how far he’s brought me and that he’s not done yet. Whatever you’re called to do, know that God is moving mountains for you. He has plans to prosper you and not to harm you! Plans to give you hope and a future!
