Give Tinubu Another Term And Bakassi Deep Seaport, Lagos-Calabar Highway Will Be Delivered — VP Shettima Vice President Kashim Shettima has assured Cross River residents that the proposed Bakassi Deep Seaport and Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway will be completed, urging them to re-elect President Bola Tinubu and Governor Bassey Otu in 2027. Shettima gave the assurance on Monday while representing Tinubu at the APC presidential campaign rally held at U.J. Esuene Stadium in Calabar. He thanked residents for supporting the administration over the past three years, describing their relationship with the government as “an alliance of prosperity, an alliance of opportunity.” The Vice President urged voters to renew the mandates of Tinubu, Otu and other APC candidates contesting for legislative seats, saying the party was seeking another term based on its performance. He added that elected officials must remain accountable to the people. Speaking on the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, Shettima said the project would connect coastal communities, ease the movement of people and goods, boost tourism and attract investments. He added that it would create thousands of direct and indirect jobs. On the Bakassi Deep Seaport, he disclosed that the Federal Government had approved the project, expressing confidence that it would become an international maritime gateway upon completion. According to him, the seaport would attract shipping companies and create employment, positioning Cross River to benefit from Nigeria’s maritime economy. Shettima also highlighted the government’s student financing initiative, saying it would reduce the financial burden on parents, promote human capital development and expand access to higher education. He said the intervention would ensure that financial difficulties did not prevent children from pursuing their education.

Sometimes, the greatest thing someone leaves behind isn't something you can inherit. It's something you choose to continue. A father spent years quietly helping children find bicycles, never asking for much in return. His family only discovered the true meaning of his Saturday mornings after he was gone. His garage became more than a place to repair bicycles. It became a place where kindness continued, strangers became family, and a simple act of generosity lived on. Never underestimate the impact of the good you do when nobody is watching. You may never fully understand how much it means to someone else. The best legacy isn't what you leave behind. It's what continues because of you. #KindnessMatters #Legacy #Humanity #ActsOfKindness #LifeLessons
