I know many of you have asked me how to pin a saree when you’re wearing a high-neck blouse. Usually, we ask our husbands or someone nearby for help—but what if you’re getting ready alone and short on time? Here’s a simple hack I use myself. Because the D’Choli is made with stretchable fabric, it’s easier to put on even after you’ve pinned the saree to it. I’ve only tried this hack with the D’Choli, so I can’t say how it will work with other blouses. Try it and tell me how it goes. And if you haven’t worn a D’Choli yet, try one and experience how comfortable and convenient it feels. Start with one—and you may find yourself wanting more colours! In the most disrespectful way possible, don’t piss us off - our bodies aren’t up for debate 👏🏼 So damn proud of @oneractive for not only donating $50,000 to one of the US’s largest anti-sexual-violence organisations but giving everyone 10% off all shorts for the next 24 hours with the code FCKYOU. Because we believe women have the right to feel empowered in whatever they want to wear, including the shortest shorts they can find. Ends: 10/14 at 11:59PM PDT
How is that?
Playboi Carti’s influence on fashion goes far beyond the outfits he wears. Throughout his career, he has helped shape how an entire generation approaches personal style, moving from the rare streetwear and skinny jeans of his early days to the dark, experimental aesthetic associated with his Opium era. During his early streetwear era, Carti embodied the intersection of underground streetwear, designer fashion and skate culture, embracing labels like Raf Simons, Supreme, and Rick Owens. With Whole Lotta Red, he pushed his image in a darker direction, bringing gothic imagery, punk influences, leather, dramatic silhouettes and vampiric styling further into the conversation around rap fashion. That evolution continued through Opium, where all black fits, distressed denim, statement accessories, unconventional proportions and a rebellious approach to luxury became part of a recognizable visual identity. His influence extends beyond his own wardrobe, helping shape the aesthetic of artists around him and inspiring fans to adopt the look themselves. Carti didn’t invent these subcultures, but he helped introduce their influences to a new generation through hip-hop, turning fashion into an extension of his music and the world he has built around it. His impact can be seen in how fans dress, discover brands and use personal style to express their identity. How much do y’all think Carti has influenced fashion?
