I’m slowly realising how much changes when you truly start believing in yourself and in your dreams. Not just in what you’re capable of achieving, but in who you are and who you’re becoming.

For the first time in a long time, I feel more at peace with myself. I’m learning to trust the process, to recognise the fruits of consistency and dedication, and to understand just how far you can go when you stop doubting yourself and start giving yourself the chance you deserve.

But I’m also learning that life isn’t just about reaching the destination. It’s about everything that happens along the way. The sacrifices, the doubts, the setbacks, the small victories, and all the versions of yourself you have to become before you get there.

As I transition from an amateur athlete to a professional, I realise that this is about so much more than bodybuilding. It’s about discovering that I’m capable of more than I once believed, finding the strength to keep going when things get difficult, and having the courage to pursue a dream without knowing where it will ultimately take me.

And maybe that’s one of the most beautiful things about this journey: realising that the person you become along the way is just as important as the dream you’re chasing.

I still have so much to learn, so much to improve, and so much left to experience. But today, I feel proud of how far I’ve come, grateful for where I am, and excited about how far I can still go.

Life is too short to spend it constantly doubting yourself, waiting for the perfect moment, or postponing your happiness until you’ve achieved the next thing.

Believe in yourself. Love every step of the process. And give yourself permission to live the dreams you once thought were out of reach.

she doesn’t even go here😅😅😅

When I look at the picture of you standing in front of the door, I think of perseverance. I think of little Jenna, determined to achieve her dreams even when so many doors were being slammed in her face. What could have broken many never broke you. You kept going. ❤️

I’ll never forget the week I was so tired of driving you that I wanted to give up. That Sunday, my pastor preached about God opening doors and how, if we give up too soon, we may never know what He had waiting for us on the other side. Isn’t God funny like that? That sermon was meant for ME because I might have quit had God not given me that word when I needed it most. 🙏🏽

Jenna, always remember that you are a child of God, and He has great plans for you. Never let the naysayers steal your spirit, creativity, or courage to take risks. Keep going, celebrate your wins, and practice gratitude along the way. Don’t get so caught up in the next door that you forget to thank God for how far He’s already brought you.

Your family back home in the Coachella Valley loves you more than words can express, and we are SO proud of you. ❤️ your mama

Keep walking in faith, Jenna. Your story is still being written, and I can’t wait to see what God has waiting for you on the other side of that door. 🙏🏽✨
