Happy Chattisgarh Day !
Mujhe saal bhar itnaaaa saara pyar milta hai Chattisgarh se especially after our movie Bastar❤️ thank you. And thank you people from all over for accepting me in serious roles and masti roles and daraavne roles and everything ❤️
The first picture I had a verrrrrry bad back ache and woh heavy gun ke wajah se . I had given up and was hugging the gun while the camera was being set .

For the past few years, I have been navigating an extremely difficult and dark chapter behind the scenes, terrified for my life. It took a tremendous toll on my physical health and well being, and affected every part of my world.

I am nearly on the other side of this three year transition and initiation. Some of the most isolating and traumatizing, yet humbling and transformative, years I’ve ever experienced. (I’ll share more when I’m ready.) But for now, I really wanted to let you all know that...

I have just finished my fourth album, titled SuperNovA ~ self-producing, self-engineering, self-writing, and self-performing, for the first time in my career.

I wrote, played, and sang for my life in this album, and it literally saved my life. It was the hardest thing I’ve ever done, because I had to make a choice every single day to consciously show up and surrender to the assignment that God gave me, in the midst of hardship.

Thank you deeply to everyone who contributed to this project. There is so much heart, passion, connection, and healing woven into these songs...
😮‍💨💊🙏🫂🌎

* 3-song feature / dream collaboration with shamanic medicine sister @sharethelight333
* Album mixed, mastered, and additional production by @ericjracy
* 1 song produced by my blood brother @johnnyvcrow , co-produced by @chadshlosser
* Additional production on 1 song by my very dear soul brother @lucianfhorofficial
* And both my cats, Freddie & Lucid, make appearances (meowing for their lives) throughout the album(they’re okay❤️‍🩹).

All I can say is holy fucking shit, we’re alive..

We love you guys. More posts to come..

P.S. Uhm, also, I just turned 40 years old, developed wrinkles, a double chin, and my hair is turning white. K bye.

🎨 Interesting Fact:

Seeing Maisy Mouse again hits so hard because she was built to be remembered. Lucy Cousins created her in 1990 and hand-painted every book with thick black outlines and flat, bright colors, a look so simple it feels like a child drew it. Here she’s with her band: Maisy on trumpet, Tallulah the duck on cymbals, Charley the crocodile on double bass, and Cyril the squirrel on maracas. If this image surfaced out of nowhere, that’s no accident. Bold shapes and primary colors are exactly what a toddler’s brain locks onto first, so it filed her away before you could even name her.

The Maisy books have sold tens of millions of copies worldwide, and the TV series that followed in 1999 put her on repeat in living rooms across the world. Most of us watched at an age when our memories were still forming, which is why a single flat red-and-blue picture can feel familiar decades later. Your brain never forgot her. It just kept her tucked away until a post like this brought her back.
