Three words to describe it would be Transformative, Challenging, and Fun!

It was my first 6 days snow trek and I had the time of my life. I had read blogs and watched videos that had told me that it was a beautiful trek. But the sheer beauty of the place cannot be described. A lot of people claim that it is a beginner's trek and it's easy to reach the summit. However, I think it's a moderately difficult trek that can be accomplished by only motivated people. A lot of people also end up losing their motivation after looking at the challenging conditions on the first day. The weather conditions can also mentally affect people and unless they are really motivated, they end up thinking that it is pointless to face such challenges and thus end up deciding to descend. I am telling this based on what I observed in my trekking group. It is thus very very important to think through personal motivations before beginning the trek. If someone is looking for a holiday with snow and comfort, then the Kedarkantha trek is not the place to visit. On the other hand, if you are someone who wants a balance between fun, adrenaline and beauty then Kedarkantha is the place to visit
