I think it’s time to reclaim OUR music! Seeing how upset everyone is about Beyoncé winning that Grammy is weird to me because I’m like you’re mad a black QUEEN won a Grammy in a music genre WE created?????
Your mad back a black person won a Grammy in a music genre WE created and not the colonizers??? DURING BLACK HISTORY MONTH???
Seems anti-black to me. It’s giving the same energy when the palm colored folks was mad lil nas x won an award for country single (old town road) which is CRAZY asf bc black people CREATED COUNTRY MUSIC!

You’re not wrong! In fact, so did Bossa, Samba, Salsa, Reggaetón, Bomba, Plena, and every single offshoot of Jazz, Blues, Rhythm and Blues like Hip Hop and literally ALL Pop.
