Actor RJ Mitte, best known for his role as the defiant son of drug kingpin Walter White in the drama series Breaking Bad, has died aged 34. "It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of beloved actor, philanthropist, and passionate disability rights advocate RJ Mitte," his representative told the BBC. Mitte, who lived with cerebral palsy, drew on his own experience for his role as Walter White Jr in the Emmy-winning drama series starring Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul. He earned a Screen Actors Guild Award in 2014 for his work on the series. Tap the link in @BBCNews's bio to read about RJ Mitte's work off-screen for disability awareness. Oh my goodness, thank you so much Chicago. Thank you all for every kind message, every cheer out there, and for carrying me all the way to the finish. Thank you Andrew for making sure I was prepared and confident and leaving the marathon more excited than I was before. Thank you @calebjkerr for doing literally all of the thinking for 20 miles. I know we anticipated being able to work in more of a pack so doing all of the thinking and all of the work… I know that’s not easy and you made it look effortless. Thank you to all of my family and Matthew who made the journey. Matthew was the loudest individual out there, and I’m not sure anyone else’s family managed to get an entire bridge worth of people chanting. Thank you to the entire @chimarathon and all of the volunteers! Because of you all’s hard work, I’m able to chase my dreams! Looking out over the start/finish area while I was eating breakfast and seeing hundreds of volunteers heading out was so inspiring, and I’m so grateful. I came away feeling both thrilled and hungry to come back and see what more is there. But if the marathon is about who had the most fun… I think I won.🤭 📸 1, 2 @kevmofoto
“Jagat mein sabse sundar kaun, Madhav?” My first thoughts, after the softest hello greeted me while I waited in anticipation. Ten seconds in, and I think I’d already eased into the moment. There was always something more to talk about and something more to listen to. And as we said our goodbyes, I was left with the same thought: “Jagat mein sabse sundar kaun, Madhav?” 🧿🫶🏻 #smritimandhana #madhav #grateful #godsplan
