This goodbye is one of the hardest I have done in my life.
Dear Grandpa, you were more than just a grandparent to me. You were my bestfriend, someone who I looked up to, a person who made me who I am today.
I know that you are in heaven looking down on me and protecting me now. I know that you are going to be with me standing on the sidelines with me as I cheer and smiling proudly when I dance. I’ve decided that I’m going to dedicate all of performances to you. You never got the chance to watch me dance in person so now that I know you’re going to be watching me for the rest of my career warms my heart.
I will never forget the day that you promised to make it to my high school graduation and the fact that you got to keep that promise makes me happier than anything.
I love you with all of my heart and I’m going to miss you and your hugs more than anything in the world.
