A favorite from 2022.
The majestic hippocampus
.
A mythological creature, half horse, half fish. They symbolize hope, agility, strength, imagination and creativity.
.
I love to paint mythological imagery, whether the narrative is ancient, modern, or my own creation.

During her visit to Egypt on May 12, 1992, Princess Diana became part of an unforgettable photograph taken by Daily Mirror photographer Kent Gavin at the iconic Pyramids of Giza. 🇪🇬📸 According to Gavin, Diana was initially hesitant to pose between the ancient pyramids. But he came up with a charming way to convince her. He reminded her that the pyramids were considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World, before adding that she was the eighth wonder. 👑✨ The compliment reportedly made Diana burst into laughter, and she eventually agreed to pose for the picture. The result was a beautiful photograph that travelled around the world, capturing not just the grandeur of Egypt's ancient wonders but also the warmth and charm that made Princess Diana so beloved. Sometimes, all it takes is one perfect compliment to create a timeless moment. ❤️ #sarcasm #egypt #princessdiana #history
