Koschuch Architects

🎉 Mannoury has been nominated for “Dak van het Jaar 2022” Award for its innovative blue-green flat roof design.

An independent professional jury evaluates the project based on several criteria, including aesthetic quality, innovation, functionality, mutual cooperation, working safety and sustainability.

The potential of Mannoury’s blue-green roof is going through exploration studies and these research efforts will play a role in informing the wider industry about the benefits of this sustainable approach.

The innovative roof’s cutting-edge design combines the use of solar panels with a rainwater management system, providing benefits in reducing urban overheating and in preventing rainwater nuisance.

All nominees and the winners will be announced on the 24th of March.
