Albany NY NAACP Youth Council

For today’s Talk about it Tuesday we would like to highlight four time NAACP Image Award, Black Reel Award recipient, and Golden Globe nominee, Ryan Kyle Coogler!

Coogler’s movies have made waves of impact not only in their genres, but within the Black community. Coogler has created films such as the Rocky spinoff, Creed and Black Panther, the first black superhero film. His most recent release Black Panther: Wakanda Forever tells a beautiful story that breaks norms of Marvel movies, while delivering a much needed message to its audience. Ryan Coogler is a writer and director whose passion for film making is truly inspiring.
