[On the way to Sunagakure]

Despite the fact that Mishiru had already been to Sunagakure, Kenichi told her that it would be a good idea to visit the village again, now with his name being the key to unlock more folders and information.

They took their time to prepare for the trip, and even asked Tsunade to warn Gaara of their arrival. Mishiru wasn’t hopeful in any way. She had been there and even with Kenichi’s name, she couldn’t find much in Konohagakure.

On their way to the desert, Kenichi was awfully quiet. He could feel that Mishiru wasn’t completely convinced that he could help her as much as he knew he could. But he also knew that he couldn’t help with much but his name, for she hadn’t told him anything at all as to what she’s looking for.

Before leaving, Kenichi talked to some friends for advice and they told him to give her space, that when she’s ready, she’ll let him in on what’s going on in her secrets.

They’ve had their intimate moments already, they both felt the connection, but Mishiru had a bit more trouble letting him know how she truly felt, and when Kenichi suddenly broke his own silent with a serious expression and voice, it surprised her.

But she was right there, just like she knew he would be right there as well.

Ay, I managed to make the Valentine’s Day post about their journey together as well!! Happy Valentine’s Day everyone. I know this post is a bit mild compared to the other’s artist celebration posts, but I do think this fits them more than anything else. It’s simple, cute and mature.
