[On the way to Sunagakure]
Despite the fact that Mishiru had already been to Sunagakure, Kenichi told her that it would be a good idea to visit the village again, now with his name being the key to unlock more folders and information.
They took their time to prepare for the trip, and even asked Tsunade to warn Gaara of their arrival. Mishiru wasn’t hopeful in any way. She had been there and even with Kenichi’s name, she couldn’t find much in Konohagakure.
On their way to the desert, Kenichi was awfully quiet. He could feel that Mishiru wasn’t completely convinced that he could help her as much as he knew he could. But he also knew that he couldn’t help with much but his name, for she hadn’t told him anything at all as to what she’s looking for.
Before leaving, Kenichi talked to some friends for advice and they told him to give her space, that when she’s ready, she’ll let him in on what’s going on in her secrets.
They’ve had their intimate moments already, they both felt the connection, but Mishiru had a bit more trouble letting him know how she truly felt, and when Kenichi suddenly broke his own silent with a serious expression and voice, it surprised her.
But she was right there, just like she knew he would be right there as well.

Meanwhile, Hikaru found someone very interesting…. (More info soon)
Ay, I managed to make the Valentine’s Day post about their journey together as well!! Happy Valentine’s Day everyone. I know this post is a bit mild compared to the other’s artist celebration posts, but I do think this fits them more than anything else. It’s simple, cute and mature.
I hope you like it!!
OCs belong to me
Bases are Sasuke, Sakura, Hinata and Naruto (in order)

![[I think I know how I can help you better than anyone…]
Mishiru was very private about her affairs and her own personal mission. After a few months of living in Konoha, she felt stuck. The missions she had done for Tsunade didn’t even give her enough for the trouble she had had.
Mishiru was annoyed and in a foul mood all month.
All Kenichi knew was that the missions Mishiru did were dangerous and not in exchange of money like any other normal mission. Whatever Mishiru needed, she was willing to do anything for it.
One day, Kenichi met with Mishiru on her way out of the Hokage’s building. She had complained that the access Tsunade had given her to her archives wasn’t enough. At all.
Then Kenichi chuckled when he heard that. His clan owned bookstores everywhere, in almost every village. If archives and books was all Mishiru needed, he was her guy in more that one way then.
Once Kenichi explained his clan to Mishiru, she wasn’t interested, until he informed that with his name, he had access to files and archives everywhere. His clan name can even override Kage’s permissions.
She asked if helping her that way would be abuse of power on his part, and cause some serious trouble to him.
“There are some risks… but nothing that wouldn’t be worth doing for you.”

![[I knew I loved you then
But you’d never know
Cause I played it cool when I was scared of letting go
I know I needed you
But I never showed
But I wanna stay with you until we’re grey and old
Just say you won’t let go]
Kenichi didn’t even try to hide his interest for Mishiru ever since she gave him any attention. He already had his eye on her ever since she stepped inside the village and she knew it. He was quick to offer help and friendship, wanting to know more about her. Mishiru, on the other hand, didn’t really pay much attention to him. He was a shinobi from Konoha and that was it.
However with time, as Mishiru did her missions and research, Kenichi’s presence started to soften her. His cheerfulness and goofiness started to crack smiles on her stoic face and the blatant flirtatious behaviour started to make her blush just a small shade.
After her research was done and her skills were no longer needed in Konoha, Mishiru’s heart felt tight, almost physically hurting when it was time to go. Kenichi had had an impact on her, and she liked the change he brought upon her.
And above all, she was gonna miss his presence the most.
The damn redhead made her fall in love with him in such a short time and she was adamant to admit it. She didn’t believe in such things, she had more important things to do!
Kenichi was awfully quiet on her last day, he was sighing a lot and even looked a bit down. It almost looked like they had switched roles.
“Will you stay?” Kenichi asked, staring a her like she had never seen him do.
She was scared. What did that meant? Stay one more day? Stay for the night? And then what? She’d be let go, what was the point?
Her expression must have shown her confusion, fear and hurt, because Kenichi took her hand and brought it to his lips. His stare was intense and resolute.
“Will you stay with me?” And in that moment, Mishiru knew.
Kenichi was more observant than he let on. He knew exactly what to say and do.
She had found home at last.

![[Then the rainstorm came over me
And I felt my spirit break
I had lost all of my belief, you see
And realized my mistake
But time threw a prayer to me
And all around me became still
I need love, love's divine
Please forgive me, now I see that I've been blind
Give me love, love is what I need to help me know my name
(…)
Oh I, don't bend (don't bend), don't break (don't break)
Show me how to live and promise me you won't forsake
'Cause love can help me know my name]
And with Mishiru and Kenichi, I couldn’t leave my pink baby out!
In Boruto, he’s a teacher at Sunagakure, living with his husband Hide (@inuuakira).
When Hikaru and Hide met, Hikaru was very lost. Little did he know that all he needed was love to truly know who he was.

When troubles come and heart burdened be;
Then I am still and wait here in the silence,
Until you come and sit awhile with me.

You raise me up to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up… to more than I can be.]
