Today is bittersweet. After almost a year, I packed my things up and headed back home to Arkansas yesterday. In those several months away though, I found another home too and my life has changed because of it. Colorado made me feel alive. Being in the mountains brought me a sense of peace that I hadn’t felt before to that extent. I made new connections and explored new places. I ate really good food and spent countless hours in nature. I worked hard and grew a lot as nurse. I grew a lot in general. So although it feels nice to be sitting on my comfy couch, in my lovely house, making plans with my family and friends that I’ve missed dearly, and enjoying the 60 degree weather (70s and sunny the next two days!), I know at some point I’ll make my way back to that beautiful place that stole my heart ❤️‍🔥
